​The CAWI Op Shop in Brunswick Heads is the heart of our fundraising efforts for Companion Animals Welfare Inc. Under the dedicated leadership of Astro Black, our Manager, the shop is a vibrant hub where donated clothes, books, and household goods are sorted, displayed, and given a new life. Astro works tirelessly between managing the shop and organising the sorting and distribution of donations to keep everything running smoothly.

But this shop wouldn’t exist without our wonderful volunteers. Their time, energy, and hard work make it possible for us to fund and operate our dog shelter, helping to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome animals in need. The community’s generous donations of pre-loved clothing and goods truly make a difference – every purchase and every hour volunteered directly supports the animals in our care.
