Want to brighten a rescue dog’s day? Our Doggy Day Out program lets you take a shelter dog on a fun adventure - whether it’s a beach walk, a café visit, a park playdate, or just cosy cuddles at home.
We’ll match you with the perfect dog, give you all the info you need, and you can even opt for a sleepover!

It’s a simple way to bring joy, reduce stress for our pups, boost their confidence, and help them find forever homes. Plus, you’ll get plenty of wagging tails, happy moments, and maybe even your next best friend.
How It Works
Sign Up - Register online or at the shelter.

Meet & Greet (20 min)
Spend time with the dog and our team so you know their personality, energy level, and needs. -
Enjoy Your Outing
Take the dog for approved activities—walks, playtime, beach trips, or quiet home cuddles. -
Optional Sleepover
If you’re comfortable (and approved), you can host the dog overnight. -
Return & Share
Bring the dog back at the agreed time and share any cute stories, feedback, or photos.
